Saw whet Owl Release
Received a call at 5pm from Chris
(Volunteer at theToronto Wildlife Centre)
saying she had a owl release and would l like
to join her. I said where and when.
It was a beautiful Northern Saw-whet Owl who took a wrong turn
during migration.
Chris opened the box and away the owl flew
You can see his wings up in the air in the left corner.
The owl landed on a branch and we wished him well and left.
Look at those beautiful eyes. A Saw whet Owl is the size of a box can.
Toronto Wildlife Centre thank you for taking caring for this Saw-whet Owl
Chris M. thank you for allowing me the honour of seeing the owl released.
